First of all, hello everyone and welcome back to the new Ftalk! As we all can see, Ftalk is yet "clean" in terms of thread counts since it has just begun for another round. And you, members, just like before, have the privilege to share fun and exciting stuff you know for other members to enjoy and talk about. This is a great chance to expand the community once again. Below are a few numbers that will serve as guidelines regarding creating threads all around the forum.
** Note: It is still up to the member's freedom on how they would want to start a thread/topic.
1. Use the search feature. If one has a topic on mind, it is his responsibility to browse the forum first before starting the thread. This will avoid duplicating or repeating topics that has been posted recently and similar information or ideas will be kept on a single thread as well.
2. Be specific on your thread titles and descriptions. Try to make your titles and descriptions as specific and informative as possible. This will help other members identify the thread's topic and if it is of their interest, and it will be mostly important if members will do a search for specific topics within the forums. And don't forget to make it catchy!
3. Research. Do a short research beforehand on your topic so that the thread would be very informative and very helpful. Include the source if available to avoid plagiarism.
4. Member's limitations. Although this is a free forum, there are several topics which are asked to not create in this community. Porn and it's similar themes, hate and flame topics towards other members, and topics that may threaten a member's welfare are examples of those we should not be posting around.
5. Have fun creating your thread! In the end, the key to an enjoyable thread is that you, as the thread starter, had fun. It will show on your thread and people will be attracted to it.
So what are you waiting for, have fun and spread the love!
