T-ara Confirm Credentials as Korean Wave Stars with Japan Concerts
Some 10,000 people filled the Budokan Arena in Tokyo on Wednesday evening, waving fans emblazoned with the faces of T-ara members and shaking glow sticks.
Korean Wave stars such as Lee Byung-hun, TVXQ and 2PM have all staged concerts at the historic venue in Japan, but T-ara is the first Korean girl band to appear there.

The girls went through their repertoire of hit songs and kept fans happy with their fun dance choreography to turn the arena into an exciting party hall. During the concert, which lasted more than two hours, an audience made up of all age brackets, including college students, white collars in their 30s and parents with young children, swayed in tune to the songs.
Two new members of the band, who joined when it was reformed as a nine-member group in April, introduced themselves to the Japanese fans.
The sold-out concerts on Wednesday and Thursday marked the culmination of the band's Japanese tour, which took them to Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai and Sapporo from June 19.
T-ara have released five single albums and one full-length album in Japan since holding a showcase in Tokyo a year ago.
