I think it should be part of the curriculum because a lot of people are ignorant to these things and even believe in old wives tales or others things that are not true. And about the experimenting with others due to the topics discussed in these clases, I believe that teenagers are already experimenting all of this on their own without being in sex ed classes; whilst doing these acts, unavoidable things might happen and they don't know what to do or how to respond to it because of the lack of education.
