My opinion is, during the courtship , the guy should court the parents first. for formality purposes if he's sincere in his feelings. the right time to entertain such things when you get your degree. You'll know he's worth your parent's time when you are certain of his feelings and yours as well.. [spoiler]on my case... i don't have the guts to make my current relationship be known by my parents since I don't have any degree to compensate. though I'm living in a hard way ( i mean my current relationship ) I'm looking forward to tell it sooner though. It depends. When you feel like he is really sincere courting you, he really loves you and you like him too, then I think you should introduce him to your parents.

For my family(Mom's side), it is necessary. But so far, they only met [b]one[/b]. My ex. Like, if they don't approve of the guy, I'm not allowed to go out with or even see him.
