Well, that's the exception. It's because you're a girl, and you're not his bestfriend, he probably has a crush on you. Guys have crushes on their girl friends. Even though it's very little it's still there.

answer to first question:
not really, its just that guys are better at hiding there emotions when it comes to heartbreaks 
answer to second question:
guys think less about there ex's UNLESS they really love that person so I guess its neither girls forget about there ex's when they're with there girl friends and same as with us guys when we're hanging out with our friends
