My last resort for sure is violence I'd never bother with it for just verbal insults. However if someone tried to physically assault me that's different, the shithead would go home in an ambulance. I usually don't give an F when someone insults me. But if I really hate him/her, a sarcastic comeback is the best way to respond.

Ermmmm lets see there is no room of forgiveness if it hurts me so badly, I will just ignore you and like you not more or less just neutral ways.

I insult him/her too. I'm not very good with ignoring people who insult me. I throw back the nastiest things I could think of if I got piss. I do however ignore people who insult me if I'm not in the mood.

Hard to ignore but I can live with it for just once.

Being insulted is part of life and we learn to deal with it in many ways..I still prefer to laugh and walk aways
