Actually I realized I was really getting old when I was on this website, and all the other members were 15, or below! And omg I felt so old that time, I was trying to fit in those little teenagers world. God! Whyyyyyy And then I never came back there again. ahahahahha

when I moved to New York. I looked, found and got myself a job. Rented rooms, apartments.. paying my own bills.

When I started giving my mom half of my salary. Yes, half of my monthly salary because my dad is busy in the arms of his mistress and he already forgotten his responsibility to us. Fvck right?

When my mom died 4 years ago. I had to study and work at the same time to help my older brother to sustain our everyday expenses because we just can't depend on our dad 'cause he has another family in Bulacan, while my eldest brother who lives in Canada also got his own family (though he was the one who paid for my tuition ). It has never been an easy life since then so we had to man up and learn things on our own.

When I went to college and lived 5000 miles away from my family. I was feeling homesick and I was having a hard time adjusting to everything (acads, environment). Things even became more difficult when my sister lived with me after a year and my aunt can't stay with us in Manila anymore. No guardian/adult around. My mom sends us our monthly allowance and I had to manage everything. I pay our bills, go to the grocery, attend my sister's graduation and PTA meetings, do the laundry etc. It felt like everything was too much for me. I thought I was only supposed to go to college and enjoy it Growing up never felt so fast.

As of the moment, we are talking about our future with our 'rents and it seems like everything is falling into perfect place. Wherein we need to work harder this time for them not just to earn money but to pay them and let them experience the life that they don't need to think anything at all.
