Re: Highest Grade you achieve :)
I studied HS and college here in the UK and the grading system is different. So I shall share the list of grading system here.
HS: (GCSE) The pass grades, from highest to lowest, are: A* (pronounced 'A-star'), A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Grade U (ungraded/unclassified) is issued when students have not achieved the minimum standard to achieve a pass grade; the subject is then not included on their final certificate.
Sixth form (college):
A – top 10%
B – next 15%
C – next 10%
D – next 15%
E – next 20%
O (Ordinary) Level – next 20%
Fail – final 10%
My highest grades in:
HS: A*'s in French, Drama, Chemistry and A's in English Language & Literature, Biology, Food Tech and Religious Studies.
College (6th form): A in French and B in Chemistry & Psychology.
