Happened last year. I was meeting some people for the first time when suddenly my [i]drunk[/i] mentos candy (speck size/almost gone) flew out of my mouth while I was laughing hard and it kinda looked like I was spitting leftover lunch that got stuck on my teeth. I immediately exclaimed "It's mentos!" Dunno if it would make any difference if I told them it was candy but I hoped they'd feel less disgusted or sth.
