This made me feel so embarrassed and upset, seeing as I am a caregiver in England myself, and I know that the Filipino's reputation as care workers are the best. You can't help but feel that especially if your British/non-Filipino careworkers starts asking questions about this news and somehow they have that disgusting expression on their faces when they look at you. The things Jonathan Aquino did are just absolutely unacceptable and if he was to be like that, he should not have become a caregiver (or nurse in the Philippines for that matter) in the first place. I have to suffer being occasionally kicked, bitten, scratched or punched, but that is because I know my dementia residents don't know what they are doing. You have got to be patient in this job and if you can't live with it then you better quit being a damn caregiver.
