Under the Dome by Stephen King This book is [i]the[/i] book. Stephen King really delivers. The pacing surpassed my expectation and the characters really came to life. I don't know how he does it but his works always got me spellbound and wanting for more. Every chapter invoked a literary hunger in me which could not be quenched until the last page of the book is turned. Gruesome deaths, political maneuverings, idealistic and pragmatic people, force field, crowd gone ballistic, apocalyptic scenarios ; all caught in King's spiderweb of tale.
