It happened to me. 
But I was the closest friend of the guy, then my best friend used me. 
I know she knew the we loved each other. But I just let it fade and don't let my emotions run, perhaps there's a lot of fishes in the sea.

Tell her I like the guy too. If she's my friend, she wouldn't be narrow-minded about us liking the same guy.
But if I don't really like the guy that much, I'd let her have him. She saw him first so I guess I should give way or sth.

Happened to me. But she's no longer just his crush. She's now my bestfriend's girlfriend. And I was doomed. When my best friend first introduced me to her ( he was still courting her that time) I already knew that I like her too, but I just ignored it. And now that she's already his girlfriend and we always see each other.. I think I'm starting to develop a feelings for her. This sucks, but I know I have to give her up. I have to forget this feelings.

Then maybe I'll keep the feeling with myself. I know it would fade away eventually. But if I really, really can't let go, then I'll tell it to my best friend. If she's really my best friend, she wouldn't go start a drama on me and instead just understand me and maybe we could even support each other hahaha
