PROBLEM: Needs assistance installing the router to the computer
Network Setup:
ISP: BrightHouse
Modem: motorola
Computer(s): 2desktops // 1laptop
OS: windows 7

TROUBLESHOOTING:
-checked led lights - internet-green,LAN#4,wireless-blue
-customer said he has a static ip from his isp
-checked if can go online wired - failed
-access routers ui - failed
-set LAN to dynamic
-checked LAN IP - no IP showing up
-change LAN port #4 to #3
-checked LAN - still no ip
-reset and reboot the router
-checked LAN ip - 192.168.1.1
-access routers ui
-set a static ip
-unable to have internet access after setting a static ip on the router
-bypass router - no connection
-customer said he has a switch that gives internet access
-wired switch-roter-computer
-checked if can go online - failed
-reset and reboot the router
-access routers ui
-checked LAN ip: unidentified network
-reboot the computer
-checked if can go online wired - ok
-configure wireless settings

Whooah! I never thought that it will be my customer's info and setup..i put some X's on the customer's info for confidentiality purposes.
