That's why I don't do it in public I can't answer your question because, I don't know either. It's weird, I don't understand my own gender too sometimes maybe it's because we're not usually conscious of our hygiene and manners. But in my case I'd be very embarrassed if I farted or burped in-front of someone I'm not close with, especially when it's a lady.
