I used to give money but then a friend of mine told me it mught be dangerous because there are some people who pretend to be beggars then suddenly snatches your wallet. Then also, a friend gave me an advice that I should always give them food instead because we will never know where do they use their money and what for. So yeah, to be safe, I give food not money.
