It depends but usually Ill just buy food and give it to them. It was because some of them are a big fat liars.

no .. but i give them food like before when my gay classmate and I were walking there in dasma because we are going to robinson's from SM, a beggar is asking me for money but I don't have anything to give him so I just gave him one slice of pizza which is I think the most heart fulfilling moment of my life. it feels so good to give. -- just sharing!

food for really older people, but most of the time i dont give because i feel that they became abusive

Not always. I'm not sure if that child or elderly woman will be one who will benefit from the amount I will be giving or [i]someone who's using them to earn money[/i] which is really bad.

sometimes. but only to the grannies.. it actually irritates me seeing those kids in the streets asking for money just to buy cigars, rugby, etc!

I used to give money but then a friend of mine told me it mught be dangerous because there are some people who pretend to be beggars then suddenly snatches your wallet. Then also, a friend gave me an advice that I should always give them food instead because we will never know where do they use their money and what for.
So yeah, to be safe, I give food not money.
